Whilst waiting the rest of my allotted span of life for the corruptocracy of Diamond Comics to be remotely functional, in sheer frustration I looked elsewhere. And behold yea verily did I seek and truly did I find.
KA-BLAM! is a comics printing service that has enabled creators great and small, pro and am, talented and horribly horribly untalented (albeit persistent which is cool enough imo) to get their comics out and about and into the dying watering holes of the morbidly obese that mortal men call comic stores.
Now I too have joined the serried ranks of comicbook creators, and with the added fillip that Ka-Blam not only prints comics at a reasonable price (unlike oh... Lulu and don't even get me started on CafePress) but now also has a POD distribution service connecting the creators to the would-be fans and purchasers. It's like someone read the minds of all the owner-creators out there and brought into being our fondest wish. Ka-Blam! More than sound effect! Much more.
